Prior to coming to Miami in 2015, I had an academic and professional career as a civil engineer and worked in major construction companies in Brazil such as Matec Engenharia and Gafisa. I focused my career in commercial business development for civil construction projects. In 2008, I switched careers, and now focus on both the commercial and fine art aspects of photography.
While photography started as a hobby, it made me see things from another perspective. All moments and small details became important, especially the simple ones. With my experience in mathematics, I quickly became amazed by the types of equipment and techniques involved in the whole image capture and printing process.
For me, photography is the encounter of art and mathematics, my two passions. This combination can be found in my commercial photography work as well as my fine art work. I am always seeking the harmony between the beautiful and the technical.
I have recently completed my BFA in Photography from Miami International University of Art & Design, and my primary focus is developing my fine art portfolio.
